Location profile
History and distinctive features
The walled churchyard lies beside the pilgrimage church of St Anne, whose history reaches back to the 12th century. A fragment of an older grave slab is set into the cemetery wall to the left of the entrance. Three wrought-iron crosses commemorate the first priests of the Holy Family parish, while other crosses were added later. The grounds are now a public Munich green space and can be visited as a historic place of remembrance.
