Address and entrances
The plan marks entrances on Albert-Roßhaupter-Straße and at the opposite end on Karwendelstraße. A long central path serves burial sections 1–20.
Getting here by public transport
U-Bahn U6 to Harras; S-Bahn S7 to Harras.
Parking at the cemetery
Designated sections of Karwendelstraße have paid street parking during the day. From 18:00 to 23:00, Monday–Saturday, these sections are restricted to resident permit holders; public holidays are excepted. Follow the signs and use the entrance on Karwendelstraße.

For help locating a deceased person, contact the central graves administration at sfm-grabsuche.gsr@muenchen.de or +49 89 2319901. Give the name and, if known, dates and cemetery. Research can take from ten minutes to four weeks.

Allocation of grave rights
The purchaser or deceased must have their main residence in the relevant burial district.
Resting period
Normally 10 years.
Costs and cemetery fees
An earth grave from the second row costs €84 per year; an urn earth grave from the second row costs €59 per year. Grave-use fees are payable in advance for the full rest period; interment, ceremonies and other services are additional.

Munich Municipal Cemeteries arrange the interment date with the commissioning party. Administration at Waldfriedhof – Old Section is responsible for this cemetery and can clarify where mourners should meet.
Funeral hall and chapel
The cemetery building at the edge of the grounds is used for viewings and funeral ceremonies.
Grave care and local services
The grave-right holder is responsible for establishing and maintaining a traditional earth or urn-earth grave and may commission a cemetery gardener.
Accessibility and facilities
Loan wheelchairs and a transport service for older visitors are available. Contact the responsible administration to arrange their use. There is also a handcart loan station.

Sendling Cemetery was established as a municipal cemetery in 1872, five years before Sendling was incorporated into Munich. The grounds lie somewhat hidden behind high walls near Harras and the railway towards Holzkirchen. The building at the edge is used for viewings and funeral services, and the cemetery provides earth and urn graves. It is not permanently staffed and is administered from the old section of Waldfriedhof.
