Location profile
History and distinctive features
Untermenzing Park Cemetery was laid out in 1952 on the western bank of the Würm, opposite the old cemetery. A covered wooden footbridge connects the two grounds and also shapes funeral processions: viewings and services take place in the old section’s building before the route crosses the bridge. The park cemetery provides earth and urn graves, while both sections are administered together from Obermenzing Cemetery.
