About the grounds
The Jewish cemetery was established in 1947 beside Gauting Waldfriedhof. It received Jewish patients who died at the displaced persons hospital, including survivors of Nazi persecution. A memorial unveiled in October 1947 commemorates Holocaust victims. These grounds are a distinct historic burial site; the map does not identify an individual grave.
