Address and entrances
The plan shows entrances from Putzbrunner Straße and Hans-Fried-Weg. The viewing and ceremony building is in the southern part; burial sections are numbered 1–19.

Bus 55 to Friedhof Perlach.
Parking at the cemetery
Street parking is available on Paul-Löbe-Straße north of the cemetery. Continue to the cemetery on foot; follow local signs and use the permitted sections.

Finding a grave
For help locating a deceased person, contact the central graves administration at sfm-grabsuche.gsr@muenchen.de or +49 89 2319901. Give the name and, if known, dates and cemetery. Research can take from ten minutes to four weeks.

Grave types and allocation
Earth and urn graves.
Allocation of grave rights
In the event of a current death and residence of the deceased or eligible purchaser in the relevant burial district at the time of death.
Resting period
Normally 10 years.
Costs and cemetery fees
An earth grave from the second row costs €84 per year; an urn earth grave from the second row costs €59 per year. Grave-use fees are payable in advance for the full rest period; interment, ceremonies and other services are additional.

Munich Municipal Cemeteries arrange the interment date with the commissioning party. Administration at New South Cemetery is responsible for this cemetery and can clarify where mourners should meet.
Funeral hall and chapel
The cemetery building at the entrance is used for viewings and funeral ceremonies.
Grave care and local services
The grave-right holder is responsible for establishing and maintaining a traditional earth or urn-earth grave and may commission a cemetery gardener.

Perlach Cemetery was established by the then independent municipality in 1902 and became part of Munich when Perlach was incorporated in 1930. The entrance building can be used for viewings and funeral services. The district cemetery provides earth and urn graves and is not permanently staffed. Administrative matters are handled by the Neuer Südfriedhof office.
