Grave types and allocation
The grounds include short, standard, double and urn graves, as well as an urn area with nine stone steles. The parish’s current notice says that new plots are unavailable.
Allocation of grave rights
The rules provide for Catholics of St. Martin München-Moosach parish who lived or stayed in the parish. Catholics from elsewhere need church administration permission; section 2 sets additional conditions for other burials. The parish currently reports no available plots.
Resting period
The rest period is 15 years; for children up to their fifth birthday it is 10 years.
Costs and cemetery fees
The published schedule lists annual fees of €80 for single graves, €160 for double graves and €50 for children’s or urn graves. Historic monuments carry a €3,000 restoration contribution, with a possible share of higher restoration costs. Burial services are charged separately; no new plots are currently available.

Grave-right holders are responsible for upkeep. Wreaths and arrangements must be compostable. Appointing a contractor must be notified to the cemetery administration; the rules allow four weeks for objections.

History and distinctive features
The cemetery at Old St Martin’s Church fell out of use for many decades after its last burial in 1909. From 2005, overgrowth was removed, historic monuments were secured and new burial plots were carefully integrated into the heritage setting. The cemetery reopened on 9 October 2016; restoration was completed by the end of 2023, together with a new urn area of nine stone stelae. All designated grave plots have now been allocated.
